My Heritage, Your Heritage, Our Heritage

About the George Heritage Festival

Welcome Home, to a website dedicated to celebrate our community spirit, to wave the banner and honour our past, to raise a flag to our shared future.

To all of us who call ourselves Georgians, George is our home, our landing page, our ‘den’, our home base, our home ground advantage. It is the place we call home. The George Heritage Festival is a carnival of everything that makes George and Georgians uniquely us, a mesh of different cultures under the roof of the Outeniqua Mountain Range; above all, a family, beautifully diverse and worthy of a festival to sing its praises.

The inaugural George Heritage Festival is set to be a fair of fun, entertainment and festivity for the whole family, and Georgians, expats and visitors alike are invited to join in the merriment from 1 – 8 October 2016.
